Camp Facilities & Accommodations
Whether you are trying to escape the hustle and bustle of Waikiki or seeking a relaxing, quiet mountaintop retreat, Camp Timberline has just the lodging to suit your needs. We offer various accommodations, from tent sites, to rustic bunkhouses, to innovative yurts, to a fully furnished four-bedroom house.
All reservations include the use of the following – campfire pits, hiking trails, biking trails, swimming pool (when certified lifeguard is present), horseshoe area, and volleyball and basketball courts.
In addition, Camp Timberline’s food services can provide meals for groups of 20 or more.

A certified lifeguard may be reserved for 2 – 4 hour swimming sessions for $35 per hour. Groups may provide their own certified lifeguard, if they bring a current certification card.
Group Meeting Facilities
All meeting facilities can be equipped with audiovisual support – TV, DVD, VCR, slide projector, screen, overhead projector and dry erase board. Business services include facsimile transmission, copy machine, and UPS pick-up and delivery.
Halawai (Lodge) – "The meeting place" is our primary meeting facility which accommodates up to 160 people, and has a fireplace and wall-mounted TV.
O`ahu (Pavilion) – "The gathering place", a covered pavilion that is the perfect outdoor meeting area, equipped with picnic tables and benches.
Camp Dining Hall – Thirteen picnic tables fill this large, enclosed dining facility, which offers ample dining space for your group.
Sleeping Facilities
Yurts – These nine innovative, eco-friendly (electricity free), circular yurts have spacious, light-filled interiors and clear dome tops, which allow full view of the stars. Yurts are complete with lighting, bunk and single beds to sleep four, and table with chairs. Separate restrooms, shower facilities, and outdoor cooking area are nearby.

Hale Ohana (The Family House)* – This spacious four-bedroom house is a sanctuary for those who wish to camp without “roughing it.” With 6 single and 6 double beds well spaced throughout the house, the Hale Ohana can sleep from 15 to 18 campers. It has a fireplace, dining room, kitchen, two half-baths, and one full bathroom.
Hale Makali'i* – This spacious studio house is perched high in the trees, giving visitors room with a view. This studio is complete with a kitchen, lounge area, bath, and outdoor lanai equipped with gas grill. Can sleep up to 8 people.
Bunkhouses – Five cheerfully painted bunkhouses provide a rustic, cozy experience. Each bunkhouse holds as many as 16 campers and is complete with electricity, bunk beds and mattresses. Separate restrooms and shower facilities are nearby.
Paniolo Stables – The stables are perfect for small groups or large ones, as the facility sleeps up to 44 campers. The building is comfortably divided into ten four-bed and two two-bed rooms, each equipped with electricity, bunk beds and mattresses. Facility includes, men's and women's restrooms and shower houses.
Tent Camping – Pitch your own tent in various locations at Camp Timberline! Enjoy breathtaking ocean views by tenting on the field, or experience more of a rustic feel by tenting in the wooded valleys surrounding camp. Separate restroom and shower facilities located nearby.
*Houses include: beds with linens, kitchen facilities, minimal pots and pans, and utensils for the number of people accommodated in the house.
